I am a distant cousin to the Saperia
family. Tema (Emma) Monchar was my father Joseph's sister. As far
as I know, she ran away from Liverpool UK with an American
soldier after WWI and, so, was probably married in 1918 or 1919.
The soldier, Saperia, was supposed to have married another
Monchar girl but eloped instead!
Several members of your family have spoken to me on the telephone
although I have not met any of them in person. To the best of my
knowledge, only my oldest sister, Ann Monchar, has met your
family in person.
