Henry? he was the black sheep of his
generation, a gambler and a ne'er do well (unless he was a
successful gambler) and seems to have disappeared off the
map. I hope I am not maligning his memory. Perhaps I
should be observing the maxim "de mortuis, nil nisi
bonum", in which case he was a great guy who distinguished
himself at El Alamein and went on to become one of the few
Saperias to attain the office of Prime Minister. The black
sheep of our present generation died a couple of years ago - no
names, no pack drill, but it can easily be worked out! Steve, I'm
sure, knows to whom I refer....
